This challenge would have been further reinforced had the novel not shown the real value of knowledge, which cannot be measured by money, or anything else. The parable of Naadan Premi contains parable of every human being who wants to lead life with out any social ties at all. As the story progresses the only tie that Jai provides to his family is his dreams. But these dreams are too small, and Jai struggles to pursue them with all his might when society is cutting him off from any material support.
